In the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the rhythmic journey of the band began in 2014 when Jamie and Taylor Jarocki, fueled by a shared passion for music, came together to create something special. Their initial venture into the acoustic scene showcased the duo's talent and dedication, but the road ahead was unexpectedly marred by the loss of their first drummer.
Undeterred by the setback, Jamie and Taylor persisted, determined to find the missing piece to complete their musical puzzle. After years of searching, a promising drummer joined their ranks, marking a turning point for the band. However, fate had other plans. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 dealt a devastating blow to the music industry, forcing the band to make a pivotal decision — relocate to Nashville, Tennessee.

The move, though prompted by adversity, proved to be a transformative chapter in the band's narrative. Unfortunately, the drummer who had recently joined them chose not to follow, leaving Jamie and Taylor to face a new set of challenges in a city known for its vibrant musical landscape.

Undeterred once again, the duo embarked on a quest to find the right collaborators. Nashville became both a testing ground and a crucible, with two more drummers passing through their ranks before things finally started coming together. Enter Cooper Travler on the drums and Jesse Reddington on bass, the dynamic duo that solidified the current formation and created the humorous moniker the band now uses, Drummer Exchange Program.

The band's story is as much about two people falling in love as it is a tale of trials, tribulations, and the unyielding spirit to overcome. Their journey reflects the universal themes of failure, perseverance, and resilience, all set against the backdrop of the ever-evolving music industry. Drummer Exchange Program's story is a testament to the belief that success is not just about reaching the destination but about the unwavering determination to continue the journey, no matter the obstacles.
